20180410_152201.jpg New to me, anyway! It's a 2008 Buick Enclave CXL with the 3.5l V6. Power everything, but no nav or sunroof. Nice rig! Of course "crossover" is just a sexy marketing term for station wagon. Diggin' it! It gets a nice road trip in July.

I picked up a 2012 Enclave about three months ago. Really love it! Supposed to be my "vacation-spare" vehicle, lots of luck, I love it so much I've been driving it to work. Only had 9500 miles on it when bought (no bullshit) now has 15000. Wife tells me to put it back in the garage and drive my 2002 Olds Bravada ! She's right, doing a oil change on Olds today! Hope you enjoy your new ride!...Longroofs Rule!

This is such a quiet car. Something where I have to have the music up, or it's easy to get sleepy in.

Sweet looking rig. I have always liked these.

    When did that happen?

Couple of weeks ago. He bought another Suburban, a 2001 this time, so that will be his daily driver. They sold the old '78 Buick Estate wagon that was Eddie's - decided it was too much of a project. Sold the Enclave, and they bought Misty a 2015 (I think) Chrysler 300S (V6) of all things........

We're taking ours on a 2,400-mile vacation in July, so that'll be a solid benchmark of our happiness with the Enclave.

The engine is 3.6l, correct. I said 3.5 earlier. First full fill-up saw an average of 19.7 mpg, all in-town with a couple of excursions to the other end of town via the Interstate. I think we'll see 20 - 22 mpg at least, soon. My wife wants to drive it to central KS in a couple of weeks to help her friend move some boxes and stuff. Still figuring out all the damn buttons and such. The owner's manual is not the most clear in certain things; but it DOES tell you all the wonders and benefits of the 18 airbags in the car in nearly 20 pages of blahblahblah!

Next purchase for the Buick is a WeatherGuard rear cargo area rubber mat for our dog. She is a shorthaired Cur, but boy, does she shed! For now, the third seat is folded down and a big comforter is back there for her. I enjoy driving it, but I also enjoy driving my Corvette; both for their own unique reasons.

I'll take a few pictures this week and post them up.
