It is. Arizona or New Mexico somewhere. Not sure of the actual location of this particular one. Tourist visiting has been limited in recent years, from what I have heard, due to damage, and the safety aspect - structures are not reinforced. Here's a Wiki article:

I'll take a shot at this. As has happened in rural villages throughout Europe, young people abandoned small villages to go make their careers elsewhere. 46 rooms ain't that many. I'd say, a building of that size would be typical of an apartment building in Chicago, Noow Yoahk or Detroit. After awhile, everybody in those dwellings would become related to one another. Young guys of later generations probably didn't wan't to mate with their cousins, so they booked looking for chicks who didn't look like them. The rest who've stayed probably died out through diseases frequented by those of incestuous inbreeding or have become I.Q.s so low that the surrounding Apaches were able to easily take them and then move into their cribs, after having disposed of the former inhabitants. The Apaches who weren't used to apartment dwelling probably thought it sucked. Then, booked themselves, afterwards

 

I hear it's still winter in some places..

Custom two tone paint? Compared to the others it is a new car

 

I wondered about that when I saw it as well.
I figured that it was either a custom paint job, or someone needed to replace their hood and the idea that a white one would match the roof made finding the replacement easier...
