I have a 1969 buick sport wagon that I have owned for 11 years. bored out 455, tremec tko 600 5 speed, hydraulic clutch, 12 bolt rear end, 3 inch exhaust etc. all original interior in mint condition. 19000 miles when I got it, 32000 now. lost my camera and broke my phone so photos will arrive later. thanks for the add.
I've had it about 11 years now. bought it site unseen from a firefighter in newbrunswick. shipped to bc by train. was a 455 auto, 10 bolt. At first I thought maybe 119,000 miles but everything was in such good shape. not so much as a mark in the interior. no rust, rock solid on the road.
I'm extremely computer dumb. took me an hour just to get a photo and avatar posted lol. anyway that's my wagon. wheels are weld drag lites with a special adapter to clip the hubcaps on. (something different) 3 rows of seating, 2 way tailgate. This year I insured it through hagerty for replacement value. I was with insurance corp of B.C. and to them it's just a 1969 bucket of bolts so i'm a little more at ease driving it now.
There are a few of us like that here. We grew up playing in the garage with rusty old cars. If you can turn a computer on and find this forum the rest doesn't matter.

Hi fannie, yes the wagon is a keeper for sure. I'm a buick nut by trade. also have 67 skylark, 67 riv, 87 grand national and cobra kit car. the wagon is my fav.
For a short time 1966/67 we moved from NYC to Conn. and my mom got herself a brand new 67 Skylark convertible, Sapphire Blue with white interior and top - always thought that it was a cool car, sold when we moved back to the city. So much for 2nd marriage's
