This was 'splained by our administrator when I asked the same question after the format was changed.
In the SEARCH box type in the word ROBOTS.

He said they are automatic programs that keep this site running. Or something like that. Maybe they just keep guys like you and me from messing things up too bad.
What we really need is all of those past active members and the newer ones adding to the group so we don't have to fill it with drivel.

They are search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc indexing the site.

:huh:This robotic stuff is complicated. Before computers while working as a shipping/receiving/inventory clerk I used 3X5 index cards. Never did have any robots helping me.:slap:

Indexing probably involves a :naughty: smart fone or an equally :naughty: app..........most of that stuff I don't understand either!

Like, why do you need to be holding the smarty fone while you drive down the street? Do the fones actually help someone drive?? :90:

They actually help tow trucks drive, as well as enriching collision shops, undertakers and boost sales of new vehicles. A wonder, they are. I thought, the forum was dead, until I saw how much artificial intelligence is viewing us. Might it be, because everyone now's trying to write comedy, anymore?

I remember quite a few years back my younger adopted son and I watched a TV show regularly called Robot Wars. It was interesting.
People built robots to fight each other.

I feel like I am being watched as I type this in the dark. A ROBOT watching the ROBOT thread!:cautious:

Why are you typing in the dark, Sir? Are you practicing for the day you go blind or what? I used to tape over that tiny camera eye which was part of our laptop. There's also a microphone somewhere on those things and those microphones are especially sensitive to mechanical noises you may make. In other words, those robots can hear you and see your face going nuts, if you're a nutcase. Sooner or later, if they already haven't done so, they'll be able to smell you or what you're emitting. So, how do you like what I did to your self confidence, Sir?
