Whether it be streetcars or freighttrains. I know, someone will come up with the idea of posting "wide track" Pontiacs (If they were truly wider than Olds and Buick?) or half-track vehicles. Which are eye candy. But, don't count. Here goes:

This is an interesting construction. Looks like a forerunner to the decades later invented magnet track:

That is the Seattle Monorail, built for the Century 21 Exposition in 1962. It was chosen for its 'forward' design, and at some point, the track was considered for maglev operation.

Looks like they missed their boat. Since copper has become expensive, Maglev conversion would seem much less of an option.

So, it's not about race cars or horses?:(
Did you know that Roman chariets are the reason for the standard width of RR tracks? Actually we can blame it on a horses' -------- rear section. The wagon wheels were spaced just slightly wider than the horses. As roads were formed from the ruts, larger wagons and covered wagons were built. Keeping track width uniform made pulling wagons over various terrain easier.
From those wagon trails RR tracks were laid.
Even the modern combustable engine was rated in horse power.

The spokes of a wagon wheel are held together with a metal ring called a tyre tieing it all together.
Today we drive on rubber tires.

The construction of a streetcar bridge connecting both proverbial "sides of the track", so they say. The west side of it, which is the side viewed furthest, is nowadays the slummier side, as in most of Earth's cities, for some strange reason. That's the side which not only is even more cosmopolitan. Most of today's bums, junkies, criminals and homeless are there to be found.

Must be. Because, I don't see any legs. What's stored in that chin double? Certainly not nuts, like in squirrels and hamsters.

Apparently the locomotive was battery or wind up and the little wheels were going round and round. Thomas the Train cartoons might be good for this family to learn about trains and the harm they can do.
For being in her terrible twos the cute little rugrat was taking it well.
Of course bribe me with a sucker and I'd be good too.

Now who ended up cutting the sticky sucker out of her hair?

Who's the strange blonde in the mirror with her stufffed toy and a gay cell phone?
I think this child needs some motherly supervision.
Choose your hairdresser wisely, truth is stranger than friction.

That's her mom getting everything on camera. I suggested she should. When that cute "rugrat" (that was mean, Sir) gets older, mom will tease her with those photos
