Need roof glass for 1964 Vista Cruiser

If anyone could help me on finding the roof glass or point me in the right direction for custom glass. Thanks

 

Welcome to the forums! First things first, you should go to welcome wagon thread and introduce yourself. You will probably get more responds there. I just acquired a 65 vista, it needed a driver side front vista window, hadn't even won the auction yet and the seller calls and says he found a set of both front vista windows. Had already been looking for a replacement, found a opposite side one for $300! Not trying to scare you, but good luck finding a whole set! Might be better off finding a parts car with them intact. Good luck. I ended up buying a whole Vista parts car to get roof glass for my 64. $300 for each piece is not out of line. Expect to pay more if there are no delams in the corners. These parts are rare and no one repros them.

 

I have the passenger side 4 foot skylight from a 1964 Buick Sport Wagon.....I believe they are the same for the 64 Vista Cruiser...please check to make sure....I also have the 2 long side quarter glass pieces and nearly all of the stainless trim in excellent condition for your roof and side glass...let me know what you need...Robert

 

Buick and Olds roof glass are the same for 64-67. Side glass is the same in 64-65, but the 66-67 VCs used different side glass due to the kick up in the rear quarter panel.

By the way Joe...I have just posted a for sale ad for my 69 Vista Cruiser but cannot seem to post pictures....it says my media is too big-what can I do ?.....I have it posted for sale on Craigslist Los Angeles with pictures there but I want to post them on the forum...any suggestions?..thanks, Robert

 

Yeah that's great, but how do I know if they are the same? Measure the dimensions? What would you want for the glass?

Hi there....I received confirmation that the roof glass for your 64 Vista is the same as the glass I have from the 64 Sport Wagon....I just sold the driver side 4 foot side glass locally for $275....I can sell the passenger side glass for $250.00 plus shipping.....I also have all the large quarter glass panels for both sides and nearly every molding for the quarter and roof windows in excellent condition...have a great Saturday, Rob

There are two types of roof glass: tinted and the rarer mirrored glass. The elements also attack the thin plastic laminate between the glass layers near the edges.

 

Are you still looking for glass? I've recently acquired glass for what i believe is a 1964 olds vista cruiser

 

What do you have? Just the glass or all the trim also?(inside and outside?)....Longroofs Rule!
