somewhere on here we were talking about yard art. Don't know if this is an idea for a thread but I saw this today which made me think about starting one. So here be what I saw while cruising in the wagon on some back roads with the kids today. (It a sunny 63 degrees!) I'm in the "restore that thing!!!" Camp, but to each his own. IMG_0637.JPG

What make is that? I tried zooming in but it's too grainy. If I knew better, I'd say it looks like a Plymouth Cranbrook.

Looks like it says Plymouth on the hood. It also has the correct look to it. There's a restored one very similar to that here in town.

As far as the "Yard Art" thing goes, I think it could make for an interesting thread.

It did say Plymouth on the hood. The guy also had what looked like a late 70's wagoneer, light blue with wood, and that Indian blanket pattern. It was further back in the drive and like I said it was back roads and I ain't no American picker. I'm not walking up on some ol feller just to tell him I noticed all his cool stuff!

Shucks I've done that stuff many times. We even visited the pickers first shop before they'd picked much. They are right down the road from the Wild Bill Cody Museum.
Only had a gun aimed at me a few times but I lived. In the midwest, up north, and in the Smokey Mtns we discovered many old cars that should have been restored. White City, Ga is a fun place to visit.
Them thar old guys are half blind. They can't hit the broad side of a Hudson Hornet. Most likely offer em a swig of White lightin and they'll give you car parts.

No offence intended but the old Plymouth looks more like a forgotten parked old car, not yard art. )guess I have a driveway full of yard art:rolleyes::biglaugh:)

    This IMO is yard art...........

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Don't destroy that good-condition toy truck! Find a beat-up one in poor condition! Collect the good one!

The problem I see with Tedy's driveway yard art is not enough flowers in, on, around the junked car art. And since he still drives his art it has to be renamed curb, parking lot, drive way art.

Well to be honest most vehicles I've owned spent more time as ART than motor vehicles. Right now two sit in my little garage and one in my oldest son's and son in law's garage. They both sort of inherited those cars. All we need are the flowers and stone boarders.

Wow Fannie. I nearly added that same photo yesterday but held back.
That panel truck has been sitting there at least a year or so. Sadly it still looks decent.
