Received a catalog in the mail today from American Excellence. Among the upcoming releases of 1/18 scale cars, is a Buick Estate wagon. Its identified as a 74, but appears to be a 73. I believe this will be a resin replica with no opening features rather than a die-cast model, and will not have a detailed chassis. But if other 1/18 scale BoS models are any indication, it will look great.
The page says 'diecast,' so I can only hope the Ranchero is not resin-cast, whether anything opens or not.
Oh yeah. I'm liking that Ranchero. However, I'm assuming they'll be $100+, so I doubt I'll be getting one any time soon.
What about that corvette corvair concept? Saaay what?! What would that be a 427 in the trunk?? Doughnuts
The huge 1/18 scale 1974 Buick Estate Wagon is now in stock at American Excellence. It says production is limited to 1000, so if you want one, you might want to go ahead and get yours ordered. https://www.american-excellence.com/?p=details&i=193758
The Buick Estate looks nice. I'm still waiting for someone to make a 64 Plymouth wagon. At this rate, I'll probly be waiting a loooooong time.
