My 1993 Caprice Wagon has the original equipment shocks on it. I'm looking for suggestions for good replacements.
    Any input will be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    WB

I put a set of Monro shocks for my Chrysler.. and have been very happy with them. They are inexpensive and have many applications.

Biggest Q: do you have level ride on it? And, do you want it to work?

Thanks for your notes. I'll check out all the suggestions.
Wagonmaster Russ, I like that wagon.
I'm heading for the impalass forum soon, too.

    Thanks,
You'll get good help over at Impalassforum.com

I used the 550012's in the front and 550052's on the rear. One of the 52's broke a weld, so I then installed 550013's on the rear (I had to wait too long to replace the 52's) the 52's are stiff but a huge improvement over the waterbed it was with the worn out shocks. The 550013's are also very good.

The level ride had stopped working on my car at the time. Some folks have adapted airbags to the level ride system and were very happy.

Thanks for the part numbers, WM Russ. "Waterbed" is a good description of my ride right now.
Snakeeyes, I don't think I have level ride. I don't hear any buzzing or anything. If I do, it's broke. What would I look for underneath the car?

Put air-adjustables in the back, mine had them, and I replaced them because the old ones were shot, and they are a great investment. Not only can you give your car an awesome stance, it helps if you haul anything heavy!

If you look under the car on the back passanger side. Hooked to the upper control arm will be your level ride sensor. The air lines will run down the drivers side. And the pump is in front the the drivers side front tire. Hope that helps.
