Yeah, that site used to be really good, but the owner couldn't spend the time to keep it up. As it says, it's been inactive since 2004. Maybe somebody should buy it and take it over.

Yeah, it was a wonderful site... that was actually where my first wagon I bought was advertised. The classifieds section was amazing.

On the Yahoo wagon groups, I remember a couple of years ago that several offered to help the owner of the site (Steve I think his name was) and he said he would appreciate it (because he was too busy to keep it up to date), but as far as I know, he never accepted the help offered and never got the site going again, hence its still defunct state. Sad really.

Don't know. Anybody got an answer for this? Does the same guy (Steve Manning) run the association and the site?

Not sure about ASWOA...Only joined the International Mercury Owner's Association and here.Got a picture of Pearl in one edition of their quarterly magazine called Quicksilver...IMOA also came with a site a lot like this one...So,did all you Roadie fans like that '53 Roadie at the bottom of the Museum Page?..I don't know about you guys, but I'd much rather have a 53 than a 93,but that's just me...;)

I'm not a big fan of early 50's stuff or older. Late 60's stuff is what (mostly) interests me.....

I emailed the administrator of that site about 6 months ago or so and Steve answered. I asked why this cool site wasn't operating. He answered ..."maybe someday again when I have more time."

"maybe when I have more time"...sounds a lot like the "maybe when I have more money" one I've been hearing recently...(I'm about to hi-jack this thread) About ten years ago, several car critics were predicting that;if Detroit didn't change it's evil ways, one of the Big 3 wouldn't be making trucks anymore in 2010:49:...I scoffed at that, back then...Now,I'm getting really worried that the "it's gunna get worse before it get better" one,is just getting started...It's beginning to look like "the Big 3" are going to be a distant memory...(I'm about to go back onto the thread) You didn't say what you thought about 53 Roadies...

Got to admit to similar tastes.Growing up in the late 60's and early 70's has a lot to do with that,I'm sure.50's and older cars in the collection would require winning the Lottery. And it would have to start with a mid-50's Chevy wagon,to make the wife happy...

I used to really enjoy the stationwagon.com website. 2 wagons that I used to own are on there. They are in the Chevrolet section.,One is a blue and white 69 Kingswood, and the other is a maroon 73 Impala. It's under the name Michael Gordon.

Interesting! I remember that maroon '73 Impala wagon well! It was a beauty! I think you had it for sale on there once if I remember correctly and I was interested in it, but something happened... I think I was holding out for a Caprice wagon or something. Gosh, that had to be about 7 years ago. How time marches on!

    Where is that '73 now?
