Right now I collect money = literally = in the form of coins as well as the money I put aside in savings. But, I have always collected something all my life - Star Wars (Original Kenner), Star Trek memorabilia, Hot Wheels (and die cast cars in general Matchbox, Majorette, Etc), Nascar Die cast and memorabilia, Non-Sports Trading Cards, Comic Books, and Obsolete Technology Electronics (I.E. 8 Track players).

I also collect media that music has been recorded on:78s, 33s, & 45s in all their different forms and sizes, 4 track reel to reel, Playtape, 4 track cartridge, 8 track cartridge, Soundtape, Compact Cassette, Digital Compact Cassette, Compact Disc, and downloads in different file formats. And there are still a few formats out there that I still do not have.

I collect different movie media as well: Capacitance Electronic Disc (CED), Laserdisc, MovieCD, Video Compact Disc (VCD), Beta Videotape, VHS Videotape, Super8 Videotape, DVD, Mini DVD, HD-DVD, and Blu-Ray. I am still not finished here either, there are other formats still to get.

I suppose you could say I collect Fairmont / Zehyr memorabilia as well for my site.

Needless to say, I am a collector and everything I have ever collected I still have.

I collect belly button lint, but I throw it away. :rofl2:

I am BIG in to RC cars, not the junk you find at Walmart, hobby grade only. Between my wife and my 2 oldest sons, we have 18 RCs. Mostly Tamiya, the oldest I have is a original issue Tamiya Frog that is from 1984. I also custom build RC scale trail trucks and rock crawlers.

What's the name for those old recording tubes? I saw an old neighbour with one of those players and a bunch of those tubes in their boxes up here a couple years ago. She's still around too.

Are you talking about wax cylinders (pre-record disc) or was it a thin cellophane like material?

Aw man, I want your wall mount rotary. I've been searching for a long time local for one, for my garage.

My wife and I collect Hotwheels and Match box still, My Daughter and I started collecting around 97 and then my wife joined in a couple/three years later, My Daughter kinda grew out of it

That one's got Sentimental Value and dates to 1958. If I get another one, I'll refurbish it to working condition and let you know. I'd be thrilled to cut you a good deal on it.
