I have watched the other episodes, it did start out a little slow but the second episode was better. I enjoy watching the show and even like it better with a members project! Congratulations to those who made the cut, I will be watching! :thumbs2:

Nice episode, and VERY nice Landcruiser!

Would have liked to see more of the restoration process.

Something tells me that body shop that is doing the work gets a bit of help.......

    And n2fordmuscle, where were you?

Would like to see a LOT MORE of the resto process!

Yes it was nice when it was finished but boy was it bad to begin with lol. The body wasn't nearly as bad as those FLOORS! Man you could see way more ground than floor if ya paid close attention. Under some of that debris was ahhhhhhhh nuttin lol

Thanks guys. Yeah, this episode was like the others, they didn't show much of the restoration process. I would have loved to have seen more, as well.

They kept "cast" to a minimum. I was there for the recording, when they picked it up. It was at my Dad's house. I had to ward of curious and nosey neighbors. There were several. I enjoyed sitting down at my Dad's table, eating lunch with Rut and George. Good times. But I wasn't there for the reveal.

My wife is ecstatic. We never thought it would be drivable again. It had been sitting out in the weather, at her Dad's house, for the past 20+ years. We didn't move it to the garage until he gave it to her a couple of years ago. Yes, it was very rusty.

Yup! Every minute. I figured it had been a Rain Baby, as well as not getting a good scrubbing after each muddin' run. Rut needs some lessons in guesstimatin'.

That episode will be hard to top for me personally. Seeing the relationship your wife has with her dad is great and I know how important that is because I often talk about my dad and my relationship. My dad will be 71 and I am 42 but when we complete a project together and he tosses me the keys and says,"Let's go try it out!" I feel 17 again and I know one day all I will have are memories and they will be good ones! :thumbs2:
