Year'ish ago I looked at this wagon for Bdsammies. Well he took the island beast home, but timmimg never let us meet face to face ( he was smart, fly in and got of the island god forsaken rock ASAP....I think it was under 2 hours:biglaugh:)

Well he got a 86 Buick with a rebuilt 403 for a doner..... lucky ****(y).Anyway some time back, he was ripping and parting and I asked about the hood ornament from his Buick.

Well what a OMG surprise in the mail box today... I got a killer hood ornament! What a difference a year makes, his parts doner a 86 and my 87 hood ornament side by side.

The difference in the hood ornament isn't in the year, it is in the trim level of the car. The trim shield is off a LeSabre Estate Wagon, and the square one off an Electra Estate Wagon. My 78 Electra had one like that.

This time you could be correct, but looking at pics online seems the red white and blue hood ornament was shared on both models in the 86 and 87 years.....

    FE mail.

We don't have a mailman. We have a PO box down town. The female postmaster called and told me I'd better get down there and empty my mail box because there was a s*^@ smell coming from inside it!
She threatened to cancel my mail box.:(
