It would be good if I could git up to speed on what a person kin do with these......first is to learn the tricks and then the trick is to remember it when ya need's it....
I has to git a little head start on the body work as it takes great gooey gobs of time with little progress on body work...I will be takin pictures for sure....spent three hours last night with the torch shrinking and fileing...you has to have both sides straight as you kin see and her hood was abused...some indents were poked right through so have to steel weld the holes up and finish both sides so it pick and file not pick and pile...
The remembering part gets foggy at our age. I still don't know how he did it. SS, what google tool are you using? That new Chrome version or the old standard? Next, what was your keyword search term "El Dorado Picture"? And finally, once you got the picture page, did you copy the link or the picture itself? There we go, FF. Sometimes you gotta be like a dentist pulling hens' teeth. C'mon SS, 'fess up!
FF I am trying to learn all bout body work so all you can post will help a lot us. With your experience we can learn a lot from you.
You steel weld to fill? Not brazing rod, but steel, right? I think my dad did that too, now that I recall.
Yes Norm steel welding with the torch is a good way to repair holes that have been the result of high impact....
