Now dat is what ya would call a real set of fin's....

I think ya could be right on...It had the extra stainless going though the door and quarter.......Eldorado or a Barrits???I not sure on the models of Caddy.....when model lines started or stopped...was not the eldorado a front wheel drive?? hate it when know the question but not the answer...

They went to Front wheel drive sometime in the very late 60's before that they were all rear wheel drive. either way to find one like that is rare.
You know about poor old Fat Tedy, stuck on Van Isle? $100 for the freakin' Ferry ++ for passengers, but the dog is free. Well, do you know of any good pickins over on that snooty rock? Junk yards, backyards like yours, and stuff? Apparently, its pretty hard to find old gems there.
1967 was the year that the General started out with the front wheel drive in the big cars....I worked on a couple of Toronado's of the 67 vintage and some latter Caddy's that were around seventy three and four...both were white and large jobs.....the 67 Toronado was a powerfull beast...
I is workin on me 55 CV...started with me hood...it is not an easy fix....will have to take a look around and see if better quality one is around....not know of any real good one's of the top of me head....may have to convert a 56 hood to 55....will have to check out me other shop as think I got's a 56 hood in back corner...
Always wondered about those. Never drove one. But I always wondered if the rear of the car would track properly, if you hit it on a curve. Like would it try to steer the rear off track, swerve? Or did it behave?
Them were just unreal....talk about a hill climber....it was hang on TIGHT...I think I mentioned BEAST....not much by todays stuff but in 67 oh my....
