That has to be my least favourite colour on those cars.

Same here, to be honest I've never liked lite blue on 9 out of 10 Fords

But it works for me on this one......
    Why...? :hmmm:

That's more of a turquoise. The other is powder blue.

Maybe cuz that one ^^ has an aqua/turquoise tint to it?

When I was a kid, my parents bought a 4 door Fairmont in that same color of light powder blue (as the Zephyr).

My LTD II Squire was a VERY light shade of blue. Not my first choice, but I liked it. Original color was silver.

The Fairmont Blue looks like an institutional colour. That's what my new 1981 Fairmont Futura Wagon had. I didn't like it, but the car was so awesome inside that I learned to ignore it.

I had a 1981 Riviera with a similar light blue, but ditto... It was a dream to drive.

Also had a 1963 Comet with the turquoise blue, but it was cheap enough for a high-school kid, even though the heater fogged up the interior, until I changed it. And then I sold it for twice what I paid! The new owner was a collector, even way back then.

Still, I wouldn't choose blue for a car. Too many hospitals had fleets of those baby blue cars.

I don't care for light blue either. But I'd drive any of these. As for turquoise I thought that was a darker color!
Nice color interior on the Zepher.
