Sounds like you are competing with that Diners, Dives, etc. TV show we watched when at our daughter's house.
I just found another food site roadfood.com.
I have to go now. I'm hungry!

we decided on our road trips to eat local foods rather then fast food. we even stopped in the amish country for a real home cooked meal. i think my body went into shock without fast food

When we camped almost every weekend we'd make sure we took drives to check out the sites and find at least one mom and pop diner to eat. Even back near our Illinois home we go to the small towns and our own for what they call "home cooked meals."
Since we got more mature Dollie cooks less real home cooked meals.
As you notice, those real meals are not much more than half-fast foods. :rofl2:

I once dated a girl with Pennsylvania roots. She used to make a dish with roast pork, kraut, and potatoes. Amazing comfort food!

What we all failed to mention is how rough 59 wagon man is on his wagons.

    Yea. Blame the roads.
Actually the 20+ years here in Florida we can't complain about most roads here. That is once we got used to those intersection dips! The top of my head is still sore from 1994.
Now those Illinois interstate highways is another matter.
