Although the front seats in the wagon are mint I phyisacally can't deal with them, if they reclined maybe. I'm full of steel and can't just sit in or on just anything so my search for comfortable buckets was on.

I got a pair out of a bubble Chrystler Concord from a wreaker on Monday and I'll be putting them in Friday nite after work. Blue leather only dusty, 6 way power, and a manual adustable back support. $150 and they threw in the console, It will need some mods before that gets installed. If the blue on blue colour blend does'nt look rite I'll have my kid tint dye them before the summer is over.

I'm not thrilled about getting rid of the 60/40 seats but they have to go.

Those look nice. Should fit right in with the rest of the interior. Maybe you can get a back seat to match, and modify the cover to fit over the Cutlass back seat.

Now, if you could only drive it from the back seat you'd have it made!

No. No. You'll never get out of those seats! Pass them over here.:biglaugh:

They look soooo comfy. Worth the tint job.

Yep, if the wagon dies, jack up the seats and put a new car under them! :biglaugh::biglaugh:

    Thats a :badwords::party5: GREAT IDEA! :You_Rock_Emoticon:
I never thought about that when I grabbed the bucket seats. It would be like my old Colony Park, leather and no dog hair to clean every frigen day almost! The only concern that comes to mind is the leather back seat has a fold down centre arm rest. I know rite now that it was alot thicker than my back seat, I'm thinking clearance problems regaurding the the folding of my seat. The car will come with me for measurments etc when I go back.

I'm going to find out what days my kid has off and take her to the wreaker and see if I can swing another day off. She is a wiz with the sewing machines (works at a high end mens fashion store...no clothes there for likes of me:biglaugh:) and she has 2 of her own machines. 1 is a lite industrial serger (name ?) machine, it holds several spools of thread and sews them all at the same time for nuclear stitching....like auto upholstery for example..I hope:dancing:

I did'nt get them in tonite but have the old ones out and the wiring fed under the carpet and hooked up ready to go. One of the motors just is'nt rite and it got to dark to replace. The wreaker threw in another set of motors with tracks, they are sorta in the picture but my rain coat is keeping them from touching the seats.

    I'll get pics tommorow:D

Mopar was pretty good at making solid brackets for the rear armrests. You could drill new holes to make the up/down swing so as to push it forward and still maintain the look and functionality. Worth checking, OR just block off the armrest and put a mini-bar in the cavity.:rofl2:

    Seats Are In

The seats look great and very comfee I mite ad. I lucked out as the seats front mounting holes lined up with the mounting studs on the floor:2_thumbs_up_-_anima I made some temporary brackets to line up the back holes to studs. I'm going drive it for a week and see how I feel in there, I'm kinda thinking I'm going to have to fab brackets for all 4 mounts to move the seat back a couple more inches. Rite now the seats are all the way back and I mite need more leg room for myself.

I almost ran out of day lite and the flash on the camera sorta changed the real colour of the seats. The colour match to the plastic panels, dash, etc is a 9.8 out of 10 for identical. I'll snap some pics in day lite.

Took a pic of the drivers floor, unreal great shape considring the year. The buld sheet is 70-75% readable still, to bad I did'nt know it was there as I may have done more harm to it pulling the carpet up yesterday.

Now the :badwords::banghead3:, I had the seats in and out a dozen times today to make the rear mounts and when I put the drivers seat in for the bolt down I put a deep scratch in the plastic wood door panel, I took a pic of that also. Now I get to stare at it forever!:banghead3::badwords::mad:

No console in there yet, I'll have to do some "chopin ana fabin" for that.

Heres some pics, I thought the 60/40 was nice before but man it looked like crap in there compared to these..........
