Great work. Sometimes I wish I was a ford guy so I could take advantage of all the cheap fox body stuff out there......but I guess I like doing things the hard way!
A couple of years ago I bought some alternative gauge clusters for the wagon. Since I'm going 5 speed manual the one with the tach is the one I am going to use.
That's what I had always wanted to do myself, but to a Fairmont Futura. However, a wagon would be just as fun, and perhaps even better in maneuvering.
Nice update. It's a proven fact that red painted brake calipers will stop a car 10% faster. It's been tested for years on a 1955 Chevy station wagon.
After letting this project just sit for years with the intent of building a 351 windsor engine for it, I have decided to go ahead and get it to a running driving vehicle with the mustang powertrain that's in it. I bought a 1993 mustang 5.0 lx and the mustang has inspired me forge ahead with the wagon.
I plastidipped 17" crown vic police wheels. I like it and I am gonna go ahead and have the whole set powdercoated white. Maybe not AS white as the plasti-dip.[/IMG]
Hey I just caught up with this thread. Just in time it seems too. What a cool thing your doing here! And great work. It's good to know your still after it!
Thanks Grizz! However it seems I have lost the capability to post or link pictures, which is gonna leave this build thread lacking!
I like the crown Vic wheels. Both my brothers have plasti dip on they're wheels a couple of years now and they still look good.
