1960 Valiant Suburban Station wagon. This car has been stored for 20 years and still runs. It has a 6 cylinder engine with manual transmission with floor shifter. This is the first year of the Valiant and is a low production car. This is a great restoration car or just fix it up and drive it like this. The car runs, but the brakes need work, so you cannot drive it. I am in the process of replacing the brakes. I have replaced the spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor in the last week. I also drained the gas tank. Please call me if you would like see it.
This car is actually a Chrysler Valiant not a Plymouth. In 1960, Chrysler came out with the Valiant and switched it over to Plymouth in 1961. I am looking to trade for a drivable car or truck. Please call me at ((Click link to add above))

The car is actually a Valiant, and not a Chrysler Valiant OR a Plymouth Valiant. Valiant was a stand-alone nameplate in 1960-62; after which in the US and Canada, it became a Plymouth Valiant.

It was a Chrysler Valiant in Australia, New Zealand, and other overseas markets.

Yes but it was sold AT Plymouth dealerships while the Lancer on the same platform was sold at Dodge dealerships for 60-62, then when the lancer was no more..................

True, because Chrysler built it. You'll not find a single Plymouth or Chrysler badge or emblem on a '60 or a '62 Valiant, because they are neither a Chrysler nor a Plymouth in those years.

However, I will stand corrected with the '61 Valiants which were marketed as Plymouths.

Similar to the '60 Comets not being Mercury Comets. (They were originally supposed to be Edsel Comets, but the Edsel was cancelled just before the new '60 models came out, so they simply didn't put the 'Edsel' name on them.) There was only a very short run of actual '60 (full size) Edsels made.

I really like the look of the early Valiant wagons. Not so fond of the rather bland 2nd generation, beginning in '63.
