Hello together this is my 1972 Mercury Colony Park. I bought it in January 2013. The car is in germany since 2009. The Merc is my first car and i love it. It is in a good clean condition. It is a 429cui engine. I´ve got almost the whole history of the car. It was driven in Las Vegas NV the most time from one family until they sold it to California and then it came to germany. I´ve got the original sales contract from 1972 Does anyone know where i could get some more informations about the car. I would like to know how often the car was build. the first picture is from an us car meeting in 2010. I was taking a photo of "my" car before it was mine
Welcome to the forum! Nice wagon you have there. That land barge must be intimidating to all the microcars running around.
welcome ! Willkommen! Where in Heidelberg are you, i am from Mannheim but live in San Diego area; will be in Mannem in June. I will look in my books what i can find for you.
Beautiful wagon (love those mercs). I love this picture. It really gives a good perspective of the difference between the wagon and the golf carts. mike
Welcome! Great looking wagon!! You can order a Marti report on your car, which will show the options for your wagon, personalized production numbers/statistics, production date, and much more (depending on the type of report you order). http://www.martiauto.com/
found these numbers in the Encyclopedia of American Cars: 20,192 production total , both 3 bench and 2 bench
Welcome to the Station Wagon Forum, Rubberhunter! That Colony Park looks to be in fine condition, with the exception of the wrinkles on the left fender. We've seen plenty of these here in the U.S. that are far, far worse. Just had a question as I was looking at the picture of the rear of the wagon. What are the requirements as far as having 'amber' turn signals in the rear on a car this old? I know those tall tail lights are all red. Glad to have you here, and feel free to get involved in our discussions... Marshall
