When I stepped out of work today the temperature was very pleasant, a balmy +7c(45f). So here are a few signs that I think we are over the winter hump: 1) no coat, just a little jacket while walking to the car 2) decided to take the car through the carwash on the way home, but a bunch of other folks had the same idea so no carwash 3) drove home with the window open, just a crack, but it WAS open. 4) got home, the driveway is a muddy mess, many, many puddles, but NO ice! :2_thumbs_up_-_anima 5) after supper while walking Skipper, hubby and I both thought we could smell a BBQ 6) further into the walk a young man hopped out of a car wearing shiny shorts and rubber boots Yes I do believe Spring is finally here.
i had my sunroof open yesterday does that count? But i did bbq as that 14 hr freezing rain started last week so i guess i'm to blame for that.
Finally! A few signs of Spring...... What, you don't BBQ in the winter? That is soooo Un-Canuckastan! ..............Not even gona comment on the RS photo
Come on Tedy you can do it![/QUOTE] OK......The only time I have found any entertainment in any way when it came to RS was when Eddie Murphy played him in the movie....... 1996/97?? I took my daughter to see the movie, there was a shot where Eddie was all bondow'd up to look like RS, dancing around as such. Well with all the "pump it up, loose those pounds" acting like RS he then started yelling in the movie "I'm a pony, I'm a pony" ( and looked just like that picture posted). Just as he finished some guy, a dad yelled out "Ride me hard" in a voice that was identical. No BS, the adults including me laughing there f'n brains out interrupted the movie for a few minutes, nobody could stop laughing! Come Monday, I'm back at work on a large construction site when in the distance I hear some one yelling...... 'I'm a pony, I'm a pony' in that voice and I split my guts again and told the guys I'm working with what happened Saturday at the movie. We kept hearing this all day and it was funny! Turns out 2 steel stud workers took there kids to that movie and it was one of them who yelled "ride me hard" By the time the place was ready for dry wall, I'm a pony etc was written on just about everything. Comments like "Hurry up princess", "Ya Wimp", etc were all "pony" related also by just about every trade. New snot nose guys got it the hardest, a new green as grass worker was referred to as "My Little Pony" Disturbing, yet LMAO! http://video.search.yahoo.com/video/play;_ylt=A2KIo.DoXkBTYVIA1H_7w8QF;_ylu=X3oDMTByZ2N0cmxpBHNlYwNzcgRzbGsDdmlkBHZ0aWQDBGdwb3MDMg--?p=eddie+murphy+as+richard+simmons&vid=5496ceac592dda7a78f476cb7fac1cb4&l=00%3A24&turl=http%3A%2F%2Fts2.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3Fid%3DVN.608016740415769533%26pid%3D15.1&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DU-iJN_q1dFI&tit=Nutty+Professor+I%26%2339%3Bm+a+pony&c=1&sigr=11a5u7ub2&sigt=10u835hpq&pstcat=arts+culture+and+entertainment&age=0&&tt=b
