Hello All, Found this website by accident and thought I'd join up! Looks like a great place! My grandparents bought it new in '71 down in Southern California. In 2003 they gave it to me and with a little work, it's become my daily driver.
Welcome to the forum Dogtown! Sweet looking Mopar! Always nice to have a family treasure handed down.
Wow - that's cool! How lucky to have had that passed down to you - congrats. What's the plans for it?
Dogtown your a lucky guy very nice wagon I'm liking those mopars more everyday. Welcome to the forum it's very addicting!
No real plans to trick it out.... I like the stock look. I've had the engine (318) rebuilt and nixed the lame two barrel. Put a 4 barrel on it with headers and 2.5 flow masters. It gets up and moves now! Ideally, I'm looking to replace all the rubber door seals (any ideas where to find them?) and replace the headliner - at some point, I'd love to put disk brakes on the front, but that'll be down the road. As noted, it's my daily driver and my kids prefer taking it more than my wife's CRV. Ha! It's been driven down to Southern Califoria and back a half dozen times in the last 5-6 years. It always freaks the Prius drivers out when I cruise by at 75mph. Thanks for the kind comments everyone....
Hey don't blame us. We didn't hold you down and make you start using us. Just remember, you can quit. I know I can if I want to. :banghead3:
Wow, it looks like it is in really good shape. Your kids have VERY good taste. Really glad you found your way here. to SWF.
