I'm Dennis too. Shouldn't you be down at Best Buy checking on TV sizes for your wagon?

I ripped the 48" plasma off my wall but now I can't steer. Maybe I'll just glew it to the inside of the tailgate and watch TV in the rear view mirror. That's not dangerous right?

No that's not dangerous and it's legal. You can't see it from the driver seat, if you don't look in the mirror. Shucks now your interior is almost 1/3rd done. Toss a couple of folding lawn chairs in the back, some astro turf, and you've got it.

I'm the guy sitting on guitars I don't need.

    1: Unknown-Name Classical Acoustic
2: Riff ES-335 Copy with a broken neck (But a very clean break, The glue joint failed when I fell holding it in a soft bag. Sounded nice when I played it, Being an $80 Yard-Sale guitar.)
3: Riff B.C. Rich Eagle Copy - Plays well but has a few issues.
4: Global Les Paul Copy - The body is very resonant but the stock neck doesn't stay in tune as well as my $150 Squier Strat.
5: Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Thinline
6: Phantom P-Bass Copy (With a very poorly repaired neck. I bought it cheaply and used the tuners from it for Instrument #7)
7: Squier P-Bass - I threw it around while mad, And broke two tuners on it. Also has dents in the finish.
    8: Epiphone Junior
9: Global Classical Acoustic - Though this one would work for taking along on a trip as it's of little monetary value and I refretted it. Just needs a nut and a saddle! Oh and tuners, Now that I thought of it.
10: Marshall "Rocket" Stratocaster Copy - Broken tuner.
11: Jackson Guitar missing hardware (Someone caused the fretboard to raise near the end of the neck by screwing the neck in without the metal plate, I think.)

I also have a $150 Squier Affinity Strat which I replaced hardware in and refretted, Which plays very nicely and sounds good for the price (And I imagine fewer people would want to steal a cheap guitar.) And then I have two Mosrite guitars (The most expensive instruments I have) and a Fender Pawn Shop Bass VI and a 1960s Yamaha classical acoustic. Do I really need all of this stuff? I can understand having some musical instruments, But too many is too many.

So, Sale time is a possibility for many of them...

This is my favorite! I'm guessing there is a tequila story there somewhere. :yup:

101 none of those guitars would sound good if I played them!
In another lifetime I played my Hawaiian steel guitar pretty well.
Some guys collect stamps or model cars. Others collect old coins or real cars. It's all fun. I used to collect old comic books, match book covers, and those little charms that came in Cracker Jack boxes. Got married and folks threw out the trash.
What's this got to do with 1tire's next wagon project? :nohijacking:
    Must tie in somehow.

:rofl2::rofl2: Hey but I am really just a squatter in my dad's garage or as he says I must of learned how to split the cost from a woman because we split the cost of the garage right down the middle 85%/15% :biglaugh:

On a serious note I did get the project rolling again with the '83 and summer is coming and I am going to sell the boat and would like to get a newer wagon also but last 6 months I work 60 hours every week and 67 to 70 hours every other week so my biggest issue right now is TIME and my dad is talking about another 50's truck project so I figure I better work on the wagon now or his projects always seem to get in front of mine but he don't drag his feet about spending a dollar but me on the other hand is cheap and always say " If it is still for sale in a couple weeks I will look at it." Even on things I know are a good deal. I have had money saved for 3 months just designated for new wheels for my wagon but hate to buy them!:D

Don't buy the wheels yet. Save the money and get the wagon finished. That looks like a nice solid wagon and will make a nice cruiser and maybe every day driver.

I totally agree with cat about not buying the wheels, get it going first, wheels ain't gona make it go fast until you have the mill in the wagon....... But if you did buy another car that would be OK, and then you could put the wagon aside for a couple months while you build a new another addition to the garage for the other wagon that mite need wheels.
BTW, your latest addition looks better inside than most new houses(y)

I'm terrible too, no additions but I got my barn with 2 wagons and a freeken heap load of parts, most of I'm sure I have forgotten about.....then there is the garage/drive way at home............:D

I have a separate budget for finishing the wagon like I said my big issue is time. I work tomorrow and the every other week kills my bad leg but my goal for Sunday is to either finish the plug wires and bolt the starter up and maybe even fire the engine on the stand or try to go to junkyard and get serpentine pulley and brackets off a 1988 and up chevy truck if my leg holds up. I also saved 4 vacation days I have to take before May and figure when I get close to getting engine in take the 4 days to put it in and hook it up...yes even at my age 1 to 2 day jobs take me 4 and 5 days now! :rofl2:

I'm still not into that serpentine belt thing. My 24 year old wants me to do that on my 305 in the wagon. In all the years I've driven I've had two belts break while driving. First one I made it a few miles to an old timey gas station with a wall full of belts. That ain't gonna happen today.
The second time I was in the 55 wagon and tossed a belt about 25-30 miles from the next town. As long as I kept driving it ran cool to the parts store.
I trust three belts more than one big one. I also trust a carburator more than all that electronic crap.
