I have a '67 Mercury Commuter and it is mounted to the topside of the glove box liner. If memory serves me, you have to remove the liner to access it.

    Hope this helps.

Yes, the top of the glove box is right. One night I some how blew a fuse when plugging something into my lighter. Of course I was out of town. I was lucky to make it into a drug store to buy a cheap flashlight 5 minutes before they closed. Then, I stood on my head looking for a fuse box for a half hour before finally finding it in the glove box. Ford could have decided on a better location for the fuses.

Hi, My blower motor is inoperative. I figure I should start by checking the fuses and see if there are other fuses blown. At least I don't have to remove a fender to get to the blower in a worst case scenerio. That's one reason I like '68 over '69 and later.
I do have a gas gauge that is inoperative. I have a bad feeling the sender may have a sunken float and a bad gas tank seal. The only time I ever tried to top off the tank resulted in gas dripping from the bottom front of the tank for over 40 miles.
