And what about having the vertical surfaces higloss, and the horizontal semigloss? Or maybe use the previous wood - area to separate the hi, and semi areas?

GAH:mad: I get sooooo restless sitting at home, not being able to drive around annoying my friends with these questions.... Frustrating, but.. I propably never run a red light again, haha:banana:

The bulbs you seek here will have to come from whomever manufactured the light assemblies. I come across these often at my work and they make them NOT match the aftermarket on purpose so they get the replacement sale, but not too hard to find on the net normally.

Are you serious??? Gah, what a ripoff..... What about the socket at the far left? Is that for a standard halogen lamp? I hate the thought of being forced to change the whole unit every year to make it through inspection..

This is a closer pic of the xenon bulb.. I think it looks like a Bi-xenon, with both hi and low beam in it, do you think it is, or is it just a big lowbeam lamp?

Sorry for all the questions, but i cant find any info on the lamps, or on the sellers website..

The bulb you have a close up of is one you probably won't find in a local parts store here in the US but I see you're in Sweden so it my be available there. The socket to the left looks similar to an 880 or 890 foglight bulb socket but I can't see it too well in the picture. Is the bulb socket straight in or on a 90 degree angle, or possibly a pic of the bulb that came out.

I dont have any bulb for the inner sockets, so i cant tell you if it is a angeled or straight.. Is the inner lights foglights original on these cars, or is it like most of the eurocars, that the inner reflectors are for highbeam?

Generally I would say yes since they are on the ouside. It looks to me like these assemblies use a fairly common fog light as a high beam, and the funky HID xennon bulb for the low beam.

    I have two of these:
    1996-caprice.jpg
    Former unmarked police cars.
It's a B-body just like the Roadmaster and 94-96 Impala SS.

    Anyone got a steering gear????
