Fannie: When you have the alignment done on a car, there are actually 3 adjustments made: Camber, caster, and toe in. All 3 have an effect on how the car tracks, the fuel mileage, and tire wear.

I can't speak from personal experience, but if he looks anything like the picture, nobody wants to see Cat in his PJs. :naughty:

Dang, you really read between the lines. It's been many years since we've gone to Pajama parties. Mine could be out of style. ;)

Toe in I have heard of. When you guys were chatting about camber I Googled it, I found it quite interesting. I actually do that alot when you guys are chatting about stuff that I'm not familar with, I open another page and do a Google search.
At the rise of sounding like an ignorant female, I don't know what "caster" is so I'll be right back.
Thanks for your continued help and explanations I REALLY appreciate your understanding. :yup:

We only had 3 channels, so 5 would have been a luxury! Never rode in the bed of a pickup, since none of the neighbours had one. The joy of living in a city. I STILL have a rotary phone. Being Canadian, we did not have the Pledge. Instead, we had the National Anthem played over the PA system. As for a bike helmet, what on earth was one of those? One more. As a kid, my perch in the car was the fold down centre armrest in the back of the 58 Vauxhall Velox. Debate is ongoing as to whether I turned out okay or not.

Actually when I was very young we didn't even have TV. We sat around the radio and listened to programs. But later the listed TV shows were what I watched. Of course on Hee Haw I was interested in the pretty gals and Daisy was my favorite Duke.
Riding in a neighbor's pick up or station wagon was a special thrill.
We didn't even have a phone. Had to go three bocks to grandma's house to watch TV or use a phone till high school.
Helmets? I can't remember many motorcycle riders even wearing those sissy things!
We played with pocket knives, sticks, glass bottles, tin cans, and other things. Walked on the RR track rails to school and back. Put pennys on the track so the train would mash them flat. Swam in the gravel pit lake and local creeks without parents.

I turned out perfect. Just ask my wife!
