A little elbow grease and new woodgrain and you might have a real
show-piece. The plates show it as a California car, so rust should not
    be a problem. Definitely worth $900 !

Hard to say without a look-see on this one. $900 could very well be a pretty good deal. Then again........maybe not. If I was in the area, I'd at least go see it. would give me a good excuse to go get an In-N-Out burger. That's where the closest one is - 320 miles away.

If nothing else, there are a lot of good parts on this old girl. Could be a good, solid car lacking in the cosmetics. At least the wagon-specific trim seems to be present and accounted for.

Assuming it is a 400 or a 440 car, the engine and accessories are worth that. I'd be all over that, were I in NoCal.

    hmmm

why would any of us be kidding? Did Fat Tedy catch that Toyota/BMW owner virus?? For $900, it would be worth it even if it didn't start right up. At least this seller doesn't have that TV auto auction virus, and thinks there's thousands to be made off this one. Alas, I still need to win the Lotto to get this one---or rob a bank. And (2) nothing at Jack in the Crack measures up to a Double-Double with grilled onions...:p

Nope. I checked Sacramento and Redding Craig's Lists - not there. Must have been sold.

This almost looks like a 'desert car' from Arizona or Texas. Redding is at the very north end of the San Joaquin Valley - still a fairly dry climate and a bit hot in the summer. Most probably it's a fairly solid wagon.
