It really doesn't matter. 99% of those who do post an intro don't know what an intro is and give very little if any information about themselves. Then they just disappear, because they were drive by shooters in the first place.

Becoming part of a community takes work and like everything else in this world, few will make the effort. I say P!$$ on em.....fi they don't want to participate, shun em like the Amish do.

I had one of the first special interest forums when the WWW first started. I had a standard set of questions that I sent to all prospective subscribers. Only when I received their reply did I approve them and I posted their intro for them. Of course, this takes a lot of extra time for the forum owner or moderators, and many of them are not willing to dedicate the time required to do so.

I have been P&*% and moanin on the other car forum about this same thing. Surprisingly many of the old farts there say we should stop complaining because many don't do an intro. They seem to think rules don't matter and they'd rather just read about old cars.
Well ironically those same non-intro guys don't tell about their cars or add pictures either. Some ask questions about how to repair their car or try to sell them on the first intro. I think many are just here, and there, to skip Craig and E-thing.

:drink:So where's the beer?":drink:If I drink enough I might tell ya a little about myself.:camera::drink:Kin I borrow this left handed carburator tuner?
    :rofl2:

    Pine Air Fresheners

I hate those smelly air fresheners. But I dorve tractor trailers for Cat and shared a truck with a second shift guy who smoked the ugliest smelling cigars in the world.
I added a Pine air freshener almost everyday for months until he stopped throwing them away. I also sprayed a Pine Scent thing before I climbed in. Eventually the Pine tree smell worked. But as I drove around Illinois hauling yeller parts I always thought I was Paul Bunyon working deep in the forest.
Coincidentally we now live across from an 80 acre pine forest.

By the way, this is my introduction cause I told about myself. For more read my signature. Where's the beer?:drink:

    *. I'll second the Bump.

Sorry I've been gone for so long guys. I lost my mother and father 26 days apart earlier this year. Wasn't in much of a forum mood the last couple of years. But I'm okay now. I just bought an excellent condition 1989 Merc Colony Park last week. Not even 44,000 original miles. I put it in storage hours before the big snow storm hit us the other day, so in the spring I'll take pictures of it and post them. GOD BLESS BIG FORD WAGONS.

    Thanks fannie...On both.
I took the wife over to the storage unit earlier where I put the wagon. She hadn't seen it yet. She likes it. :thumbs2: Heck...she likes all woody wagons. Unfortunately, I have no room at my house to keep it so it'll have to stay there until spring when I can then bring it here. I have plenty of grass to park one of the other cars once the ground gets hard.
