http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-classic-cars-Chevrolet-Caprice-4x4-Wagon-W0QQAdIdZ485394587 I dont even know WHAT to comment on this car. I apologize for bringing it to your attention.......
I can't see that treatment on any passenger car, it can't really be used for anything but driving over everything in its path. And that's illegal. I think.
Sounded like a good idea at the time: "Hey Vern, whatchya gonna do with that wagon with the rotted out frame?" "Dunno, Butch. Think it'll fit on that old Suburban we rolled over in the back 40 when we were kids?" "Hey, that'd be cool, eh?"
Its cool! You could drive over anything in it, who's going to stop you? Beware Smart cars and Priuses. It looks a lot better than what some people do to their wagons. I'd rather see that than 24 inch wheels, Lambo doors, and a Chester Cheetah Cheetos paint job. Just need to build a dock on your house to get in and out of that thing.
I have a few things to say here. #1 ladies and gentlemen posts like these happen when people forget to wear their motorcycle helmets when young! #2 As much as I hate this tall wagon it would probably sell in a heartbeat down here around the mud boggin areas and the lower Suwannee River bottoms. Besides your regular Bubbas, the woods iz full of Vern's and Butch's.
Not sure if anyone else can appreciate this...but the first thing that came to my mind was the episode of the Simpsons when Marge goes bananas in the new Canyonero. According to Wikipedia.... It is actually a parody of a Jeep Wagoneer, and while also have simularities to the Ford Excursion. It also worth noting the similiarities in exterior design between the Simpson family station wagon and the Canyonero, from the basic outline to the color. One might say that it is simply the Simpson's wagon on a truck frame and with an angled front fascia.
