It doesn't look like a coffin would even fit in it unless you left the back open? Maybe it's a flower car or something like that? Don't wagon guys would want their final ride to be in their own car though?? My wife would have a "For Sale Cheap!" sign ready to put in the back window for the ride home from the cemetery.
Seeing as how all the decent big cars aren't being built anymore, this would make a good question....What will the hearses and flower cars of the next 10 years be made from? I'm guessing mid-sized SUV's like the Explorer.....FWD versions. Although frankly, minivans would be a lot more practical and easier to convert.
say what the hey !!! As BlueVista asked,"Is that even long enough to hold a coffin?" What Toyota won't do to steal every last little market possible, from the American car companies...
I have been in only one mini-van. It was a short ride and I don't want to get in another one. If that's all they will have left I ain't going! I did remind my wife to put my ashes in a rusty old coffee can, put that in the back of my station wagon, and cruise some beach till the last ash has left the can.
I agree whole heartedly. I plan on going in a large Miracle Whip jar, as glass is class. However if it wasn't already planned and had the need to have a coffin, there would be much more dignity in the front cage on a bus that bicycles are placed into for public transportation. But I would have to be placed in standing up.
Gasp!!!!!!! Dear Upholders of the dignity of the long-roof, . . . . . . . Oh the disgrace!! Nobody want to die, but something like this is enough to get me to start searching for the fountain of youth!! mg: Cheers, Edouard
