75 gran torino wagon

My brother in law is a Native American and he found a spot for the blue car up in Santa Barbara so it's an "Indian Car" now. I'm glad I don't have to chop it up or send it to pick a part.

 

I hooked up the parts car and towed it to Ventura. I yanked the cragars and tailgate. We went get a spot ready and when we got back the city had towed it. They wanted $350 right off so I just shined it as the interior parts were not cherry. I would have like the floor pans. Like I said space is tight and I must have been in some ones spot. Oh well, I pretty much made out on the tailgate alone which is impossible to adjust( dual action). I'll have pics when I get it swinging.

The gate was well worth the torture.

The rims need detailing are good daily drivers w/ 245/60/15 Cooper Cobras.

Looks pretty good. A little rust here and there. You did say you weren't going to be sprucing it up much, But, I do believe Rustoleum comes in white now, and a few careful spritzes could keep that from getting worser. Pretty much the same thing my 86 Colony Park was. Maybe not with the same suspension package, but that shouldn't make too much the difference. Looks like a good acquisition to me.

 

I'm going up to Humboldt to paint a friends truck this summer and I'll do mine.

 

Humboldt

Just got back to LA, from up in Humboldt. Would have stayed if the Eureka schools were up to snuff. Had to come back down, so the kids would keep getting smarter. Last September, when we first got up there, the city and county governments were voting to update to 1984 standards. The State General Plan. Which means they're not quite yet equipped to handle kids with autism and Aspergers. Or ADHD, really. It's a wonderfull place up there, if you don't have kids.:banghead3:

Oh, yeh, when I mounted the tires I inspected the brakes and they looked excellent, shocks looked good and frame looked v good. Also grabbed the left tailight assembly.
