360 V8. 97k miles. One owner. No reserve auction. Looks immaculate but a very peculiarly optioned wagon. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1977...6941933?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item3f240057ed
Looks absolutely beautiful, and as stated, as if it just came off the show room floor. Very unusual to find a Crestwood with wood grain delete, but you could option them that way if you wanted the nice interior but not the exterior wood. Interesting, though, to find white wall tires, Crestwood trim, and dog dish hub caps. Obviously, though, that is what the original buyers wanted, and at this point, I hope it is kept exactly this way. This is one that is certainly worth preserving just as use by way of very careful use.
Mike, I certaily agree that this unusual and pristine Monaco wagon is worth preserving. But I just wonder what the discussion was about options (and lack thereof) for this custom ordered wagon. Biggest V8 available and woodgrain delete, but forget the (probably) $10 remote control outside mirror?!
I really distrust a dealer that situates his pix so that you can't tell if the car has tilt or cruise. Because of the way the steering wheel is located and the fact that it has no pix from the driver's side of the steering wheel.....I'm going to assume it has neither. Heckuva well preserved car though!!
I think if it had tilt and/or cruise, the seller would state that. That is something to mention, yes? What is there to distrust?
My own personal dealer thing. When I had my lot I just made sure everything was disclosed or shown in pix. I knew dealers that used little tricks that I didn't like and I guess that distrust carried over. Not to mention that this dealer has a 98% positive feedback. No biggie....just don't like the way the pix are presented in that area.
