    WENCK... No Im not interested in the wagon,, just stating some states allow bill of sale transactions, I have a direct line to the DMV ( friend works there):)

    This is the one that a friend of mine chopped the roof off and made into a "rebchero" back in the 70's. It was previously his fathers car and he was going to vocational high school for auto body at the time, so it made a great project. Now I can se where he got the idea. His was a solid gold color and didn't have the two-tone deal, but he must have seen one somewhere.

    I remember going to many hockey games with his old man before the car was chopped. I think it was a pretty good car

    3 years ago I got an 82 Eagle SX/4 from the junk yard no title, had the police come, they ran the VIN, I had plates the next day.

    Again, read my other post where I state that in MOST states, a bill of sale alone is useless. Some states are a lot better at preventing registration of stolen cars and trucks than others. Not saying that this one is stolen, but I presume you get the point.

    Therein lies the rub. It ought to be a simple matter to ascertain if a vehicle is stolen or not. Once determined it isn't stolen, a fellow shouldn't face an expensive nightmare of red tape. How I loathe the system.
