Yikes, Termites. I image it hasn't seen California in quite sometime. Neat car to save though. There can't be too many real ones left.:2_thumbs_up_-_anima
:banghead3: I hate that phrase! What language is that? Needs restoration or needs to be restored. Off my soapbox now... Very cool woodie project by the way complete with flathead.
Neat car. The patterns for making the wood are not difficult to find. There may even be a kit available, since the body was a factory Ford item, not from an outside supplier.
I agree with Mike. The wagon is very rare and a desirable year. I'm sure someone has patterns or even a wood kit for this. At that price it is a good buy. But not for me! Still, I could use the $100,000+ it would later bring. ???? I wrote this a t 11:56????
Me too...... I hate seeing that. I've posted before about this one, and have had responses that people think the phrasing is acceptable - not in any English class I was in.
Come on guys, stop being so picky............ Okay it needs freshened up a bit. Maybe buffed out and a few pieces of missing wood! The patina on the wood is a bit thin!
A LADY OWNED THE CAR FOR THE LAST 54 YEARS AND HAD IT STORED ITS A CALIFORNIA CAR SHE MOVED TO OKLAHOMA AND DROVE THE CAR HERE I bet her hair was a mess by the time she got to Oklahoma!
I still think this could prove a GREAT deal for the right person. Probably, because it is a Ford, it could be brought back for between $40 and 50,000. Value when done is nearing double that, so not a bad deal in the least. Maybe Vetteman needs to become converted to Blue Ovals! Think of the meticulous job he would do!
