    Listen here you young whippersnapper, I've been using those products since I bought my first 49 Dodge in high school in 19 aught 58. :rofl2: Great on those 4" wide white walls and the bumpers. But I didn't steal my wool I used STEEL WOOl. :biglaugh:#0000

    oh yeah.. been there a BUNCH of times! I remember painting the inside of the tail light buckets white because I couldnt afford a new one or have the old one replated!

    that and using a tinkers hammer and a piece of old tire to knock dinks out of hubcaps and then hand polishing them with a shop angle buffer ..

    Anyone else use Bon Ami to clean glass and convertible tops?

    We made our own rust remover by mixing gasoline and motor oil; 0000 steel wool was the applicator pad!

    My dad used to make me scrub the white walls on his Caddy with an SOS pad, worked really good. Been using them for years on various car parts.

    SOS pads are awesome, I allways keep a big box in the garage, and a can of pledge, simple green, and...........
