Good luck on the car hunt. It will be lots of fun seeing your progress. Good luck on that Falcon wagon. Sounds more than interesting. I've never really wanted a car that old simply because they need, in my mind, and for how I use them, some pretty major upgrades to deal with modern traffic. I seem to have settled in to the late 70s as the era I find most useful to me. Aside from good tires, they are quite up to the challenges of modern roads and traffic with a lot of capability left over. Also, I can understand about doing a job that is less than fulfilling because of physical limitations. Don't let it get to you. Honest work is always a good thing. I keep telling myself that. One day I will believe it! Keep fighting the good fight.

Have fun around here. This place is like a second (or for some, a first) family, and a home away from home. The caring and love that flows around is something you won't find in very many places, never mind on the net. At any time of day, there is always someone here to talk with, to share with, to cry with when necessary, and to celebrate with. Jump right on in.

    Welcome Robert,
The Falcon is an excellent choice. Easy to work on, easy to drive, wont go terribly fast, and not hard to stop (knee issue will appreciate this). :Welcome:

Thanks, Rev. This place seems to have a lot of good folks here, so I think that I'll stick around. Besides, the kids I work with hardly know what a station wagon is. I have been trying to educate them. I think that at least one of them actually understands the appeal of a long-roof go-getter.
The rest of them? Meh! If'n it ain't a Mustang, Camaro, Charger, or Challenger, or an SUV, they aren't interested.
I often think that youth is totally wasted on the young.
