Sorry for the slow response - it has been a busy week, and I'd've felt bad not replying without pictures...

I know that scenario all too well... I think she'll come around sooner or later, one way or the other, or both...

    Thanks for the kind words.
Even though we've only know each other a short while (less than 2 months now) she feels like an old friend. (y)
You're right about the wagon being a bonus - the friendship is more important.
I really don't need a fourth car, but it's a really nice wagon.

You'd mentioned having a lemon of a Squareback in a previous thread.
I've been driving mine as my regular car for almost 6 years.
Even at 41 years old now, it's the most reliable car I've owned.

It's only not gotten me to my destination once.
The engine's previous owner had overtightened one of the sump plate studs and stripped the case threads.
It fell out and dumped all the oil.
I didn't happen to have a spare stud on hand, so I couldn't replace it.
A little JB Weld on the case and replaced the stud, it's still holding 3 years later (y)

    As you requested...
Sorry it's a bad picture, I took it from a distance with back lighting.

And I know you're all curious. Here's a picture of me and the lady in question.
We won 3rd place - $50 for our Halloween costumes. :1st:

We really should have added Wash, Soak, Rinse and Spin adjustment dials to the 'machine'.

You did what you wanted, found a new friend. That's more important than a fleet of station wagons. :)

I married my first wife for her beauty and her intelligence.
    (She owned a VW)
I married my second wife for her beauty and her LACK of intelligence.
After all, she thought I was a catch.:D
A woman who is into cars, knows how to weld, and owns a low miles Colony Park?
Tell her she's unique and beautiful, and marry her before I do.
BE SURE TO GET HER TO SIGN a pre nuptial agreement giving you ownership of the the Colony Park, and hope that you never need to use it.:)

    Best wishes!
