I'll be back before your birthday. Wife wants to leave right now but someone hasn't mowed the lawn yet. And I'll swear that 1000 miles is more like 2000 now. I need to rest a few months. Well weeks hopefully. Son did make the Dodge truck sound like a hot rod by changing the acre of plastic boxes and tubes to a simple short chromed plastic tube and cool lookin cone aircleaner. Most people said it was difficult. Even I could have done it. One stinkin mass air flow thingie had to have the hole reamed out a tiny bit and a larger grommet. Disappointed in MPG. Friend said he gets 20+ with different plugs, rerouted wires, and that cold air induction. I gained 1 MPG. 16.2 from 15.2. But we were going 80+ against the wind most of the trip. I'll drive back with the wind and closer to 70 MPH. Now I'm in withdrawal. But that always happens on my birthday. Wait till you reach 45 and you will see.
I have a ways to go to hit 45. Even longer till my birthday! When you leaving. If it's after you mow the grass it may be a couple of years! Now....I have to go take a shower...it's someone's birthday so I guess I'll interupt my usual yearly schedule to be my clean and handsome self!
It rained fairly hard this afternoon. No mowing for a few days. I always take a shower on my birthday too. Guess I better do it just in case. Hope the dancing gals and strippers arrived for your birthday today. Maybe they can scrub your back in the shower. Silverfox, seems like your birthday wishes overlapped a few threads. But you deserve it.
What's rain?? The corn is usually over my head at this time and now it's about a foot high! No....that's not over my head. Dry as a bone here. OK....so it's MY birthday? How old am I? Oh.....the strippers live here year round. Thanks for saying I deserve it. What it is I deserve is another question!
Rain... Ah, yes. Rain. We had 3 sudden down pours today in my part of the Windy City. It made it so much easier to deal with the aawful 104 temps we were supposed to get. I don't know the it actually did. I know that right now it is real warm and really muggy. Weather report says 99 tomorrow, and 95(?) Saturday. Sunday is supposed to be 80!!! Now that's more like it.
Xavier if you and Zoe drive your imaginary wagon down to Lake Michigan and take a dip you will forget all about the hot weather.
RAIN!!!! Finally after 38 days without a drop, it rained most of the day yesterday! You could almost hear the plants and trees going AHHHHHHHHH!
This was good news. Since it's been so hot and dry you've had plenty of time to work on the interior of the Shwag! Do you have some finished photos yet? Ain't ya glad I'm back?
