Ok, so I got a 1973 Chevrolet Kingswood Estate wagon kit from the Modelhaus. It's a 1/24 scale model, even with the wood grain sides. However, the kit did not come with a roof rack. I pulled some pictures off the net and on here for 1971-1976 clam shell wagons, but it simply isn't enough. I need more detailed pictures to get the right angels and what the "feet" look like that hold the rack to the body....

Is there anyone with this style roof rack willing to take some close up pictures? I am hand making this with plastic strips.....I'm pretty sure it can be done....but I need the pictures to make it as real looking as I can get it.

    Thank you in advance,

    Jonathan

Have the original installation papers (71-76GM full size wagons; came with my NOS roofrack). Would that be of a help?. Let me know; I still have to scan those, so it can take up 2 days

However, if its no bother, its worth a shot.....

I like your Signature. My wife's mexican, and she loooooves Country music. My Fairmont is a humble Squire though, and just as stately. :D (y)

Well I bought the '77 CS in west central IL....anytime I did any type of work on her, I always found items from her past life as a "farm wagon"......

Besides I found the sig on another site YEARS ago, it just seemed to fit my '77 so well...

Yeah, HandyAndy keeps lookin' for signs of Country items like mouse-poop, cow patties, etc. You know, those optional items. :D He got his deep in the southwest of North Dakota's farm/ranch country. You could almost call it a Farmont. But I gotta tell you, there's no rust on it, even under the carpets. One clean machine. Its the hairballs and hay that he keeps finding... :rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:
