Some low life scrapped my son's rear driver panel & drove off. 2nd car this has happened to in the last 18 months. The "people of Walmart" are, apparently, low life scum.
If I add in the cost of the bodywork on 2 cars... $$ saved at Walmart- NONE
I'll give my business to the mom & pops.

Around here the same people shop at the Mom and Pop stores too and drive like they are drunk or asleep. Usually both!
I guess I've really been lucky by parking in the north 40 at Wally World and the other places. I also sit in the truck with a shot gun sticking out the window as my wife shops. Ya think that helps?

Sometimes it must be nice to be an American. All I could do when this happened to my baby was complain to my daughter all the way home and then get out the buffer!
I always drop mom at the door and park waaaaaaaaay faaaaaaar awaaaaaay and when she's going through the cash I go get the car and meet her back at the door.
    Sorry about the ding Knight.

I make a point of parking far from everything, when shopping, at work, etc. Figure the additional exercise is a good bonus
Yet still I find dings and scrapes:banghead3:. As my uncle likes to say " You can't have anything nice." I swear the inconsiderate, self-absorbed types outnumber decent folk in some places

Did he report it to the store? They may have security video of the person who hit his car.

Depending on how high of a crime area this Walmart is located in, will determine how many of the ceiling globes actually contain cameras. I started as overnight Dairy Section stocker at our areas largest Walmart, Crime was not all that bad, because our store was loacted East of Erie, PA in Harborcreek, but we still had the East side of Erie riff raff that came in. The security position opened up on 1st shift and I put in my bid and got the job. In this store, over 1/2 of the ceiling globes were empty. The main areas that were under surveillance were all the doors in and out of the building, the stock room(but very limited), electronics and CD/Games/Software Dpt, the Pharmacy, the loading dock area(inside and out), sporting goods, Toys department, clothing(especially the womens department), the cash registers, the accounting room and the door way leading into it. 4 of the 10 outside lot cameras were real, the rest were there to scare people into being law biding. We had only a few in the entire grocery area, nothing in crafts, nothing in the automotive, nothing in the greenhouse and gardening, nothing in the clearance, nothing in housewares, nothing in seasonal. Though I could pan many of the cameras to cover those areas if needed, but I could not see alot of the isles.

So I would not put too much hope in them having anything on film for the parking lot, unless he was parked in the entrance area within 12 parking spaces from the building, that is all ours covered anyway. Maybe this particular Walmart has better coverage. Its worth asking, but don't get your hopes up and do not wait longer then a week. ours was on a 7 day loop recording cycle.

So do I shop for Christmas or not, cause Walmart has layaway. Which leads me to wonder...we know what a walmart shopper looks like what do you think an ex-walmart shopper looks like?

But, have you watched some of those Wal_Mart customers driving around in those lots? They zig-zag and speed through those end spaces like they are at a road course. Not to mention the big rigs and RV's trying to get parked in 12 spaces themselves.
The only safe place to park is home in the garage, with the doors locked!
That's why at Wally World and other Big Boxes I stay in the vehicle and pray a lot!:slap:
