Since TBird has noted my verbosity to date - all my posts - I thought I should explain.

I am amazed at all the resources there are for Mustangs, Chevies, and older Ford and Mopar Wagons. My little Fairmont Wagon has about 4 websites of any quality, very few parts, other than another donor, and some very distinct Ford oddities. So I figured since I'm scouring the WWW for bits and pieces and the odd Fairmont/Zephyr owner website, I might as well post related stuff for the rest of us, as well as my own needs. My Internet Browser takes about 15 seconds to load up, because of all the links I've got subdivided by car brand, special topics, major car components, and our family business and our home reno classifications and my woodworking hobbies and my interests in Green Technology, my wife's hobbies, Health sites, good international medication composition research sites, online radio and TV in 3 languages, and on, and on.

So I post what I find, because most of us come back and share the adventure, our booboos and our successes and whatever we discover to help each other out, and that makes sense to me, since our wagons are an 'endangered species'. :biglaugh:

We're almost archeologists and CSI - Wagoneers. We have to know a bit about a lot. Weatherstriping, Wood, Faux Wood, upholstery, electrics, electronics, wheels and glass, repairing, refining, high-perf, innovations we can use and dumb ones. Strange looking brackets and glues and rebuilding. It's the chase and the passion and the good fortune and the friendship and respect. And I appreciate the folks on this site, because we are all of those things.

So I don't mean to hog, I just am a hog. :biglaugh: No transfats though. :)

I feel the same way Norman. And more people are starting to feel the same way with their cars now.I would be outside on mine but we have T Storms rolling through again so I can't drill another hole in my other knee.:biglaugh: I'm just a whore over my wagon and info is even harder to find on mine than yours I belong to several sites but they are mostly sedans or 2 doors. I need to break down and order the correct service manual for my wagon.Already got the wife talked into another engine. But had to give up my top secret plans. :taz:

Drilling a hole into my thermostat for my truck the drill went one way into the side of my knee and the thermostat went the other. It was a separation of the ways.:biglaugh:

So did you give the Thermostat a tetanus shot or your leg? Which one leaks more? :rofl2:

Get that workbench prototyped and with money you'll be another Jay Leno Garage franchise. :biglaugh:

My finger is growing back the new nail again. Terrible timing though. I really needed that index finger to feel the wiring under the dash and attach fasteners in blind spots. Sometimes, I'd forget and it would remind me REAL FAST! Funny how that works. :)

For a proper statistical study, we should ask our wives. BUT only after they list all the capricious things they do, justify the mood swings, and why they keep losing their keys, their purses, their earrings, their shopping lists, their friends' names. :biglaugh:

Should be a very low key survey result. :biglaugh:
