Gotta love the stuff they created at Ace Wilson's Royal Bobcat Pontiac in Royal Oak, MI!

Here's the '72 LeMans safari Endura:

Oooh, what could have been, what a waste, the G8 I like this modern take on the Rally II wheels too:

For some reason, Photobucket had this image submitted as a 1978 Pontiac Sunbird Wagon. For some reason
    I remember them differently...

That green wagon was for sale a year or two back.....

May have told this one before. Back around 1986 or so I ran across a '72 LeMans wagon with the endura nose parked in a driveway. Not in great shape, but OK. No for sale sign on it. I left my business card and a note that I was interested in it. Guy called me back - wasn't interesting in selling it unfortunately.

Yep, been around a few times. The last guy bought it nicely and I doubt it will be for sale any time soon. I've come across a few of these. Almost bought one out of WA, but he didn't have a title and things got ugly quickly. There are a few out there. Very cool. But the whole "The Wagon" is a photoshop effort. Not too sure about the Royal Oak connection either. Great looking car, nonetheless. I'd love to have it. (It's a 3 seater.)

Yea, I bet your right about the photoshopping. Even the factory sheet could have been created but it looks authentic. I've never heard of "The Wagon" but I could see it being
done by a place like Royal.

A GTO wagon or El GTcaminO would be cool.

I've never heard of the "wagon" option either, but as I recall, John DeLorean was at the helm at the time and I wouldn't put it past him.

I knew the original 'builder' of 'The Wagon' went to the trouble of making up the decals, etc., but i had not seen that option sheet before. I was very surprised by this, as I'm sure I would have seen information about this 'special' option package when it first came out (I used to devour the car mags... - even Automotive News)

The fact that it's photoshopped explains it. Nice job though.

Ray Charles could see that was photoshopped, , the cars had front bumpers and the marker lights weren't sideways on the front fender and that far forward, a few inches were cut off the fender too.;)

Other than being painted bad luck green and sitting too low the car looks good, doesn't do much for me though, no vista window.:)

Actually the Eudura bumper was an option that you could order on any of the Tempest/Lemans cars back then in place of the big chrome thing. The GTO got it standard. It was option T-41 and I believe it was something like $150 or something close to that.

The bumpers for the Endura option were slightly different than the standard version, but I'm pretty sure the marker lights are still in a factory location on that car. I don't think they "modified" anything.

Check out Jim Hand's wagon for a comparison. I think his is a 71, but it's a factory original T-41 wagon.

    Oh, and I like green.
