I have a couple of questions:

    1. What is the best product to use on my leather seats for '87 Colony Park?

    2. Would it be good to get like sheep skin seat covers?

    Thanks.

Sorry, Maxi, I can't help you on that one as mine has the vinyl. I will tell you I use armorall and the seats look great afterwards. But again, that's on vinyl, not leather.

Mother's leather cleaner followed up by Mother's leather conditioner.
It contains Neatsfoot oil, same stuff you use to soften up the leather on new baseball mitts.

Lemon Pledge can be used to keep them looking good between treatments along with any other interior vinyl, wood, plastic. Some guys use it on the exterior, especially bikers, no interior on a bike.;) The only thing I take to car shows along with Meguiar's Quik Detailer for the exterior, plain tap water and a super micro fiber towel for cleaning glass.
No seat covers, the leather is very durable, no reason to cover it up.
The best thing for house furniture and car interiors is leather if you have kids or dogs.

Armor-All just makes you slide around in a car if you use it on the seats, use it on a bike seat and you'll find that when the bike goes from a stop you don't unless you hang on real tight.:(
My friend drag raced his bike that way , laid down flat on the seat and held on, going down the strip his legs would be literally flapping in the breeze behind him.:D

Lexol is my favorite leather renewer. I use it on saddles and tack, and it removes scuffs and scrapes on boots, too. I rarely use these products on leather car seats unless they are dry and in poor condition: check ANY product you intend to use on leather in an inconspicuous place to see if the product alters the color of the seats as they usually darken the leather.

SF, I shouldn't use armorall on the vinyl? It always looks great whenever I do. Is there something wrong with it that I don't know about?

I guess it's all in personal prefrence......if you hauled dogs, you would NEVER use armorall. Hair sticks to it like sh** on a blanket. I also don't like the covered in butter feeling you get, same with miguires(sp?)

On my leather, vynal, and wood grain I use leather protectant, the stuff I have used all summer I got from a ...of all places a horse supply outfit made for leather sadles. I love the stuff, keeps all clean, soft, not over shiney, and dog hair doesn't stick

A friend of mine used to work at a parts delivery service with my brother-in-law. (My brother-in-law is as thick as a plank). My friend tells a great story of the day the boss sent my brother-in-law out to clean the trucks to get him out of everyone's hair. They later discovered that he had used ArmorAll on the vinyl bench seats (and steering wheels!!!) in all of the pickups. The drivers were sliding back and forth for days.

...that being said. I found an ArmorAll Leather Conditioner Cream a while ago at Canadian Tire. I've used it on all of my leather seats with great success.

I confess that I was nervous as hell when I started using it. I wandered through several stores and couldn't find any other leather products. I figured it would be easy to find something that didn't have ArmorAll on the bottle but in the end I gave up and betrayed my wagon by applying an ArmorAll product.:tsk: It's too early to tell what long term harm may have been done since my seats haven't actually been in the wagon for months but I was OK with the short term results.

So you use Lemon Pledge on the Dash board, all vinyl and the woodgrain after you take care of the leather, you use Lemon Pledge to keep it good?
