Again, thanks everyone Even though I'm sick today it's been great medication hanging out with the both of then...building a bond with Griffin, 3 of us on the couch napping....need a bigger couch!
I'm sure he's already forgotten all about the family with the new Camaro convertible he thought he wanted.
He's making himself at home it apears...... He's adapting pritty darn good. There is no aggretion what so ever between the 2 dogs, even playing in the yard, no barks or growls, they get along great! Rascal has clearly taken the big brother role, if Griffin gets scared of some thing Rascal puts himself between. Alot of "monkey see, monkey do" as Griffin clearly watches for Rascals lead when it comes to comands....Stay on the mat for feet cleaning, sit, stay, etc. Griff is taking treats very gentle now from my finger tips and Rascal and I are demonstrating how to take a treat "gentle" from my mouth with out touching me, but it'll be awhile before I try that one with Griff Shaking a paw, it's still a hit and miss depending on how excited he is, and on a leash is gona take some work. Have had a couple accidents in the house witch was expected but they been the.... I or Deb come home and it's "OMG, your home! I'm so happy I pee'd myself" at the door. He knows what the dog park and go for a ride meen, a couple days ago when those 2 phrazes were in on sentance Griff blasted down the patio stairs leaving a big long pee trail Gona take some time but he'll adjust. This is all so new to him, he doesn't know whats going on yet.
-------I'm not promising anything. But I'm ready to move up there and live like a dog! Let's go to the dog park..... Arfff! Oooops, I peed! We're so happy for all of you lucky dogs.
as we say out on the streets ya cant keep a good dog down! buy the looks on thair face they know they finaly have a good home and good humans to take loving care of them. good luck and may god bless .
Thanks again all, had a good day of whoop'n it up Straycat... Thats a pritty cool 'fee'loin' you have
Sooooooo many needy animals.......Soooooooo few people to care for them! Now Griffin has a "forever" home...a wonderful yard, house, a protective tutor for a brother and, most importantly, a kind, considerate, affectionate couple as family. Appears as tho' you were all meant for one another. Congratulations!
