Wimps. I'd drive it. Might need to drop in a TPI'd 283 or 305 and she's good to go.

What do you think the body shop thought when he told them he wanted to paint it pink and white?

As Red Green used to say--"I'm a man, I can change, if I want to." Add to this I am a man who traded his red 1955 Chevy wagon in 1999 or 2000--I try to wipe the memories out of my brain............. even up for a 1949 Ford business coupe with T-bird clip, 302, C-4, and Ford rear end............ I'll admit, it was PINK with white rolled and pleated interior with pink piping. Old style turnpike cruiser skirts, wide whitewalls, and side exhaust. Plus duel rear antennas. Yes lots of white pinstripping. Ran great and actually looked great. It was a real babe magnet too! Gals were always rubbing it. Told my wife I was gonna start wearing a pink zoot suit to see if the gals would rub me! :biglaugh: Only car I carried title in glove box. It was PINK but it was a real LEMON! Traded that even up for the yeller 1941 Ford 2-door. Took three years to buy my wagon back from the other guy! :slap:Yes, I have pictures but you ain't gonna see them.:naughty:
