OK...NASA's satellite, the size of a bus, is falling and is supposed to hit the earth sometime today. With all the bad luck I've had in the past several years and even considering all the people in the world and the millions of square miles of land and sea.....chances are even money that it will fall on my wagon. With me in it. But....there may be some good that can come from this....after they separate the satellite from my wagon and peel my dumbass out of it....maybe Xavier would like to buy it!:yup:

    Heads Up!

Well, silverfox, I suggest you put on your motorcycle or football helmet and head for the basement. Park that wagon in the neighbor's yard until tomorrow!----------They didn't mention Florida did they? We recently had a new metal roofover installed. I'm sure it's strong enough to stop a bus!:tiphat:

-------Yea, but a falling satellite is not a funny thing if it falls on my house! ;)-Is that covered by homeowners insurance?

Isn't it supposed to burn up in the atmosphere before it hits Earth? I hope so. Think about all the space trash we've sent up there over the years. Heaven help us if it starts making it's way back to where it came from!

Not to worry. It'll miss north america. It's on one of those wierd north to south orbits moving about 5 degrees each pass. Depending on the timing Argentina could be at risk also east asia.

It will probably strike a GM plant in China putting them out of the Buick buisiness forever.:rofl2:

-In theory falling objects are supposed to burn up. But this thing was built by NASA and was sprayed with WD-40 to protect it. -Did you know WD-40 was invented by the government after 40 tries? Here's a question, what is the main ingrediant of WD-40? Duck, I see something in the western sky! The sky is falling!:slap:

    Fish oil.

6.5 tons. Expected that 1,100 pounds of it will make it to the ground/ocean.
