Here's my candidate. (Yikes, I hope nobody owns one. If you do, my apologies; certainly don't want to offend anybody.)
Here ya go. Am I the only brave one to post this? It's soooo ugly I'd have one but only if it included the camper kit option.
I think the 1934 Tatra is FANTASTIC!!! ...but my friend is working on one and complains how ugly it is.
oh...I drove past it with a 'For Sale' sign, then found it on Craigslist. People have been using the Rabbits for racing...and the VW people seem to be very cult-like...
Tell me about it. Those cars are in high demand. You are very lucky to have stumbled onto one that looks that nice. If you stumble again please let me know.
I saw this very rusty Valiant in 3000 Miles to Graceland yesterday. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0233142/ Welcome to the forum, Jeannine. (I had a '68.)
I sure can't call that vert ugly. Had a friend that had one back in the early 70's. I liked that car a lot!
People thought the 1962 Valiant's were ugly...more Studebaker-esque. Plymouth quickly changed the body style in 1963. Using most of the same Valiant body parts Plymouth came out with a 1964 Barracuda. People thought this little gem was hideous with that greenhouse back window...of course I love it! p.s. this was my moms first car, wish she still had it.
My best buddy's father when I was growing up bought a '60 Valiant like the one above ('V200' model IIRC). I loved that car! Didn't tell my dad, but I liked it better that the '63 Nova that he bought. Buddy's dad drove it for work, so he replaced it with brown '63. Didn't like that one so much, but they were basically the same underneath. Bought my own little Chrysler later on for my 4th car - a '65 Dart with the slant six - and factory A/C. And yeah - it was ugly.
i love the styling of the 62 valiant !!!! btw the 64 barracuda didnt show up so heres a pic front back
