Don't let your wife see that. She'll think she found the justification for being impulsive, too! Never let them see you sweat. :D

Once it's done, my wife wants to drive it while I get the Renos done and do another Fairmont Squire! It's about time, she's the best co-driver I've ever known. She's cool-headed, focussed, confident, and alert. Once she takes the Snow-Driving course, I'll never get her out of the car!

hehe - I think she's already noticed, considering that it's been sitting in the driveway for some time now:

Having her totally not interested in driving my cars (something about being short and unable to see....) is one reason I had been interested in getting a smaller Fox body ... maybe someday! :)

    :rofl2: Thanks!

Sterling Heights, eh? My wife has an aunt and uncle who live off Van Dyke near 17 Mile. They used to sort of hate the wagon when my wife was staying with them for a while before we were married (something about "gunning" the engine in the middle of the night ....), but now the uncle's ridden in it and basically approves even though it's a bit of a rattletrap. Need to get out there again one of these days, if for no other reason than to grab a four-cheese deep dish from Uno's on Mound.

Yep,thats our neck of the woods, luckily we have cool neighbors who are tolerant of old cars. I'm not familiar with Uno's ,although I may have to do some research ,the four cheese dip dish sounds good!

That's cool about your neighbors. My neighbor across the street here in Delhi Township (south of Lansing) says he's been fined a handful of times after the people next door to him called the cops about this or that he had sitting outside. I'm technically in violation of the same ordinances that got him fined, so I'm planning to get with it in the very near future ........

Dunno about that location, but Uno's in Merrillville, IN has daily specials in individual pan pizzas. The Chicago Classic is their original, with tomatoes, cheese, and fennel-laden Italian sausage. I've actually been to both the original locations out in Chicago when I was younger, but that seems like a very long time ago!
