Sorry guys, I was outside working on the car today and missed the sudden catch-up. That's insane! Surely there's enough of us to regain the lead we had.

I tried clearing my cookies as per my previous post, but it doesn't seem to work, I'm still recognized. Perhaps because I'm on a router.

Maybe he's got a proxy server?

You'd have to clear the cookies as well as change the outward facing IP Address, they track both.

A proxy would would have to be dynamically addressed (not very common) or you'd have to have a whole lot of them.

Okay, I voted again and will continue to do so daily, if for no other reason, just
to keep that golf cart from winning. It doesn't hurt that that li'l cam back of
yours is the coolest of the bunch.
The 'hot rod' (probably referred to by it's owner as a "rat rod") is just plain ugly. So many great parts
so poorly executed. The '59 Pontiac rear end is a great idea but the sum of the parts just isn't working for me.
If it were mine, I'd (to quote Monty Python) ... start again ...

Possibly, but that's still only roughly 35 votes per day (70 if they vote twice). By my rough numbers, he's getting that many every two-three hours. :banghead3:

If/when he takes the lead, I will. I would much rather beat him. Him knowing that he couldn't even cheat his way to a victory would be much sweeter than calling him out. If it does come to that (calling him out), I will be glad that I kept a close log for un-disputable proof,it will match whatever the site tracks by to a T.

Thanks! And I agree, alot of work to look like he "forgot" to worry about a front end (of some sort).

I think I'll refer your li'l Vega to the H.A.M.B. My appeal will be that IT
more closely represents the heart of hot rodding then the "hot rod", it
costs less that the green fees for the average 18 holes, the Javelin (my
2nd choice, tho not voting on it) isn't an AMX, and the other car must be
forgettable because I just forgot what it is... Ha Ha...
Vega is a low cost, light weight car with a purpose built racing engine and
plenty of spent rubber to prove its street cred, also it is a sedan delivery with
black with flames and, while rather ubiquitous as far as hot rod paint jobs go,
it really work well on that l'il grocery getter.

Thanks again! You are the first person I've heard pick up on the sedan delivery look. I knew I wasn't going to be tinting the front windows since I use a dial board at the track. The rear windows I tinted with the last three rolls of 2 1/2% anywhere to be found around these parts, in hopes of it being dark enough to match the black paint and give the "panel" look. Worked out great IMO. Maybe that's what gets my goat the most about the golf cart, he bought it as it sits, and proudly boast the fact. Not that there is anything wrong with buying a nice ride, but I don't personally know a single "car guy" who has bought a ride and done nothing to it to make it his own........

For the record, while it's not perfect, I have done 98% of everything to this car in my two car garage over the last two years while driving and racing it regularly.:)
